The City of Eugene is now recruiting city boards, committees and commissions. The recruitment will conclude on Friday, September 18, 2009. Applicants are being sought for advisory committees to the City Council, departmental advisory committees and intergovernmental committees. Below are other key dates in this process.

NEIGHBORHOOD MATCHING GRANTS
DEPARTMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
RECRUITING FOR TWO NEW MEMBERS
The Neighborhood Matching Grants Department Advisory Committee (NMG DAC) is an ad hoc advisory committee responsible for reviewing grant applications and making recommendations for funding qualified projects in accordance with Council Resolution 4632 and Eugene Code Sect. 2.013. The grant cycle begins on July 1 with final applications due on Feb 1. The NMG DAC meets during the month of February and will make final recommendations for funding, presented by City staff, to City Council in early March.
