The Downtown Neighborhood Association

Hi All,
The sample newsletter layout is attached below in a pdf file. Please let me know how you like it - I can change the photos and clip art pretty easily.

Obviously, I focused on the layout, not the content. Send me your content in email or word and I'll put it in.

Thanks

New version as of 12/3 attached below.

Sherrill,

This looks great! Richard Herman from WT on 8 will be submitting a press release by Nov 20th. And I'm plugging away on my letter to the city. Let me know how else I can help. One small note: It mentions we have meetings every month still, But the schedule reflects our new schedule of every other month. Otherwise, nice work! - Will
Thanks for the encouragement, Will. I'll continue to update my draft and post it again in a few days.
New version attached 11/14 above.
Well. Good to know I've been volunteered to write the "Security Update" section. I suppose I should get to work on that.

What's our timeline?
I missed a meeting and became secretary. You missed a meeting and get to write an article. Thanks for accepting the task.

Since we haven't jumped into committing to an early December mailing, we will aim for mailing in early January. With that in mind, let's have all inputs in to me by December 12 for a preliminary layout, then the final layout on December 19.

It is okay to send me your articles earlier. Also, we had talked about ads. If you know anyone who wants to advertise, have them email me their art or tell me to pick up a business card to scan.
Wilco.
Just a reminder. How are those newsletter articles coming? Tom have you contacted Jeff Petry and Mike Clark concerning an article on parking? How about checking with Jean Tate and Jim Torrey? Greg, we were thinking you could do an opinion or editorial piece; what do you think?

I'll need your inputs by Dec 19 – that's less than 4 weeks away.
I'm plugging away on my letter. Did we get another press release from WT on 8? If need be we can include Meet Your Maker in new business section also.

Are we having a SC meeting in Dec?

Thanks Sherrill
Thanks, Will. We can have an article or an ad for Meet Your Maker, depending on space. At this point. I don't know how much room I'll have, but why don't you send me what you can.
The newsletter is taking shape. A new version is attached. You can see that the space is accounted for and I just need a couple more inputs.
This is great

Can you please revise this sentence for me?

In my opinion, the most persistent challenge persists

In my opinion, the most persistent challenge remains

Otherwise, great - I'm excited
I've revised my master copy so next time I post a new draft you will see it. btw... where's the photo of you in your sporty hat smoking a pipe?
